We Took the Celebration to Nac!

Of course, we had to have even more birthday celebrating in Nacogdoches. And, Jack didn't mind one bit!

This was the "before" picture. Somehow after Jack went to town on this cake, got covered in brown and blue frosting, and began slinging it around...I forgot to snap another picture. I think I might have been worried for my camera to survive the icing fiasco!

Jack got a bubble machine from Grandpa...among many, many other things. Luckily, none of them breathed, as promised!

Did I mention this kid LOVES bubbles?!

Jack's First Birthday Party

At Jack's birthday party, painting with pudding was the main event. We took all the kids into the backyard, gave them a blue "smock", and let them go to town with different colors of pudding. It was great!

Cecilia felt the need to bathe in it!

Kayden and Owen were hesitant at first, but quickly decided it wasn't so bad.

Of course, Jack loved it...it was FOOD!

Jack turned one today!

Here are a couple of videos of Jack on his first birthday. He's pretty excited to play with his balloons and bubbles. We even get him to take a few steps in the second one! Both videos are great examples of the roller coaster of emotions that rages through this man every couple of minutes.
